Via XXL Mag:
News hit the net last week that the duo, who first worked together on Ye’s controversial “Flashing Lights” clip, have paired up once again to shoot a clip for the Lil Wayne-assisted track “See You In My Nightmares,” but MTV News has learned otherwise.
“They’ve teamed up again, but this time, it’s for a short film,” Jonze’s producing partner, Vincent Landay told MTV. ”It’s not necessarily [a video for 'Nightmares'], but the song is featured in it. We’re still editing it right now, it’s probably going to run between 10-15 minutes.”
While Landay wouldn’t give any details on the story line for the project he said it was already shot in Los Angeles earlier this year. “I don’t know when or where it will debut,” he added. “We did it for fun, so maybe it would be good if someone would give us an actual deadline for it.”
Jonze is currently gearing up for the release of Where the Wild Things Are, his highly anticipated adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s children’s classic. The fantasy film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16, 2009.

"OBSTACLES are necessary for success because in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats. Yet each struggle, each defeat, sharpens your skills and strengths, your courage and your endurance, your ability and your confidence and thus each obstacle is a comrade-in-arms forcing you to become better or quit. Each rebuff is an opportunity to move forward; turn away from them, avoid them, and you throw away your future....."

Cam'ron sits down with RealTalkNY to discuss the state of New York Hip-Hop,the negative and positive aspects of hip-hip, music & entertainment persona's , and lists his top 5 rappers of all time.
"In an exclusive interview with ... DJ “Z,” Bow Wow steps inside the Booth to discuss the ways in which fame can put a strain on personal relationships, how he deals with the haters, and whether his success with the mother/daughter demographic has led to any off-the-mic action".
Quotable:"I had to work for everything. And I’m gettin’ better, so instead of sayin’, “Bow Wow’s getting better,” they always wanna blame it on why I’m getting better, instead of just giving me the props. “He might be getting better because somebody’s writin’ for him!” you know what I’m saying? They always [say], “Well, Wayne or T.I.‘s writin’ for him,” and that’s not the case".

"... Cudi came through the eckoplex yesterday for his first press day, and he kept it realer than most. In this exclusive interview, the Double-O representer talks about how he wants to be bigger than Kanye and Lil Wayne, the screaming match he had with Wale last week, and that rumored Reebok situation that went down in Phoenix. Yup, we back friends like Puffy and Steve Stoute…"
"My whole thing is to not to be as big as Kanye or Lil Wayne, but to be bigger. It’s all about progression. If I just set the goal to want to be like Kanye and Lil Wayne, that’s setting my shit to a limit and it’s selling myself short. I’m pretty sure when Kanye was aspiring to do his music, he wasn’t like, I want to be as big as Jay. He was like, Nah, I want to be bigger then Jay. It’s not necessarily saying that you are better than them, it’s just setting that bar. If I never am better then Kanye, in my brain, I’m always going to be trying to be, forever and ever until the day that I die".

In A recent interview with Funkmaster Flex, Jim Jones finally admitted that a phone conversation between him and Cam'ron actually did take place. The Dipset Capo also hinted that his "own selfish ways" may have contributed to deterioration of him and Cam'ron's relationship. Jim Jones then took time to extend his hands to Cam'ron and: "get this Diplomat business done".

FWDF: I definitely would like to see The Diplomats back together, but I don't how Cam'ron would react after Jim Jones denying that they even spoke, dissing him on "Frienemies" and then reaching out to him, coincidentally... the day before his album drops. I'm just saying money can fuck up the best of friendships in when you grew up together:

"I feel like if a rapper disses me, they’re just trying to get a rise out of me and get me to play in their field to find some way that they can beat me. I feel like there’s a lot of rappers that can beat me in ignorance. So why would I play a sport that I’m not particularly trying to get better at or beaten in? There’s a lot of rappers that can beat me in ignorance, but there’s only a few that can play with true intellect. [Long pause.] How fucking perfect is that fucking answer?!"

"Success on any level begins with an education. The things that you don't have, will be a reflection of things you don't know. Now the things that you must know: you must know where your going, you must where you've been and most importantly, you must now who you are. If you don't know who you are, there is no way you could possibly know who you are about to become. Now, I understand that in life sometimes we must endure some extreme conditions in order to make it to where GOD had planned for us to go, but that does not mean that it is impossible by any means. Where you are does not define who your are, your environment does not define you, unless you allow it. Now, you can take where you are in life and use it 1 of 2 ways; You can use it as motivation to push yourself forward and never look back OR you could use it as an excuse to stand and do nothing and go nowhere. Choice is yours".

Atlanta-based rapper Gucci Mane is looking to return home from county jail sometime this coming weekend after serving close to six months for a probation violation.
Gucci’s own imprint So Icey Records and management company Mizay Entertainment are preparing a “Welcome Home Weekend” bash at Metronome Studios where they will record a mixtape to celebrate. Sponsored by eModa.com, the party will include various ATL all-stars like Gucci affiliates OJ Da Juice Man and Nicki Minaj. DJ Holiday is on board to host the disc.
“What better way to come home than to connect with friends and colleagues you haven’t seen in a while, by going into the lab and recording all of the hits you’ve come up with while you’re away,” Portia Kirkland, vice president of Marketing for Mizay/So Icey said in a statement. “Having great talent all in one room without the pen and the paper in the booth will make for a great homecoming and we’ll make sure Hood Affair Films will be there to capture it all.”
It is uncertain what day the rapper will be actually released from behind bars, but it is believed to be anytime between Friday, March 13th and Sunday March 15th.

As Posted On Jen The Pens Blog:
According to some birdies that flew in my ear Cudi has signed his first deal with Universal Motown???!!! While I have not yet confirmed this information I do want to say this: Cudi and I have been friends wayyyyyy before he was “Kid Cudi” and I “Jen The Pen” we go way back to the Staten Island Ferry and government names. I can’t begin to express how blessed I feel to have watched someones dreams come true right before my eyes. From the moment Cudi and I exchanged words he told me he was moving to NY to become a rapper… and I thought “Isn’t everyone” Well he assured me his dream would come true no matter what it took. And that it has. I’ve learned thru Cudi not to ever underestimate ANYONE. For we never know what tomorrow holds! Cudi I’m ready for my close up when VH1 “Behind the Music” comes calling I’ve got the story behind the story!
